Search and rescue teams, assisted by a helicopter, were used to recover an adult body on the Sultan River on Saturday.
The body was discovered near some logs in the river by two fishermen, said sheriff’s office spokeswoman Jan Jorgensen. The body appeared to have been in the river for some time, she said.
She said there was no reason to suspect foul play in the death.
The Snohomish County Medical Examiner’s Office is performing an autopsy, she said.
