WEDDING

Matkovic and Drumheller

Snjezana Matkovic and H. Weston Drumheller were married Sept. 8 in a garden wedding in Anderson Valley, Calif.

Their parents are Dr. Glenn Drumheller of Everett, Gloria and Ron Reeves of Denver, Colo., and the late Radovan and Ljeposava Matkovic of Pakrac, Croatia.

H. Weston was born in Everett. He earned a master’s degree in architecture from the University of Washington in 1995. He has his architecture practice in Boonville, Calif.

Snjezana attended college in Bihac, Bosnia. She is an interior designer at Taylor-Roberts in Philo, Calif.

H. Weston and Snjezana spent their honeymoon visiting the bride’s family and touring Serbia, Bosnia and Croatia. They live in Yorkville, Calif.

ANNIVERSARIES

Kubin

Joseph and Evelyn Kubin of Grayland, Wash., plan to celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary with an open house from 1 to 6 p.m. Saturday at the home of Mike and Kim Hazen in Marysville.

The couple were married Oct. 4, 1957, in Edmonds.

Joseph and Evelyn have four children, 12 grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.

Mason

Former Everett residents Lloyd and Joan Mason of Surprise, Ariz,, plan to celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary with friends in Arizona.

The couple were married Nov. 9, 1957, in Greybull, Wyo.

Lloyd and Joan met on a double date and married shortly after. They came to the Pacific Northwest, fell in love with the area and moved to Everett in 1969.

The couple retired to Arizona where Lloyd plays golf every day and Joan plays bridge each week. Joan took up golf and already has a hole-in-one under her belt. The couple continues to enjoy traveling.

Lloyd and Joan have three children and five grandchildren.

Beginning March 1, Community Transit to reduce some fares
