NEW YORK — Hillary Rodham Clinton says the upcoming fall election is “an opportunity to shape our future” in a new fundraising pitch on behalf of House Democrats.
Clinton is sending out a fundraising appeal on behalf of the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee. The potential Democratic presidential candidate in 2016 has been stepping up her campaign activity for Democrats in the weeks before the November elections.
Clinton says in the email that “it’s going to take all hands on deck” to elect more House Democrats. Republicans hold a majority in the House and need to pick up six seats to take control of the Senate.
The former secretary of state and her husband, former President Bill Clinton, are kicking off the 10th annual Clinton Global Initiative meeting this week in New York.
