SEATTLE — An Everett man accused in a string of bank robberies in King and Snohomish counties has pleaded guilty to eight heists, the U.S. Attorney’s Office said Friday.
Michael Joseph Rogers Jr., 36, faces a maximum 20 years in prison and a $250,000 fine on each of the eight counts.
As part of a plea agreement in federal court, Rogers agreed to pay $46,012 in restitution.
Rogers admitted robbing eight banks in Bothell, Lynnwood, Snohomish and Arlington between Aug. 10 and Nov. 21, 2001, court records show.
Rogers entered his plea on Thursday. Sentencing is scheduled for April 26.
