Donate diapers
Staff at the Everett Public Library are collecting diapers for the Everett Gospel Mission Shelter.
Donation of disposable diapers or baby wipes can be dropped off at the main branch of the Everett Public Library, 2702 Hoyt Ave., or the Evergreen Branch, 9512 Evergreen Way, until the end of the month.
“Last year we had a hat and mitten tree,” said Eileen Simmons, director of the Everett Library. “After reading about the need at the shelter, staff decided to make that our holiday donation focus.”

Military families get coupons: Anyone may bring manufacturer’s coupons to the Lake Stevens Family Center for distribution to military families.
Volunteers at the nonprofit family center will clip and sort the coupons for the American Legion. The Legion then will send them to troops around the world to use in military commissaries.
Expired manufacturer coupons are acceptable but store-specific coupons are not.
Local coupons such as dining or entertaining discounts may be donated for service members at Naval Station Everett.
The Lake Stevens Family Center is located at 1803 123rd Drive NE.
