Volunteers needed at Jetty Island

Join People For Puget Sound and the volunteer corps of Jetty Island Stewards at 10 a.m. Saturday to spruce up the island’s wild habitat for the summer.

Remove weeds and build a trail around newly planted areas.

Bring the family and work alongside Jetty Island Stewards, Everett Parks Department and local kite boarders for a day of weeding and wandering the island’s solitude, before the summer crowds.

To register and to get directions on where to meet, contact Keeley O’Connell, 360-336-1931, koconnell@pugetsound.org.
