CAMARILLO, Calif. — The Lundberg Survey of fuel prices reports that the price of gasoline decreased by a penny a gallon during the past two weeks, the first decline posted this year.
Analyst Trilby Lundberg said Sunday that the average U.S. price of regular grade gasoline is now $1.95 a gallon, down from $1.96 a gallon recorded on March 6. That’s $1.31 lower than the price at this time last year.
The lowest price for gasoline in the nation was found in Cheyenne, Wyo., at $1.67 a gallon. The highest was in Honolulu at $2.36.
