VERLOT — Officials on Thursday identified a man who fell to his death on Mount Pilchuck earlier this week.
Don M. Grant, 29, of Bellingham, was hiking with friends Tuesday when he left the group and went missing, officials said.
His body was later recovered by Snohomish County sheriff’s helicopter crews on the north side of the mountain. Investigators believe he fell off a 300-foot cliff.
The man’s death was ruled an accident, according to the Snohomish County Medical Examiner’s Office.
