PORTLAND, Ore. — Portland Fire &Rescue says the preliminary damage estimate from Sunday night’s fire at a Hayden Island marina has reached $24 million.
The department says about 350 boats were in the dry dock storage facility at Sundance Yacht Sales &Marinas. The 90,000-square-foot building collapsed during the four-alarm fire.
Investigators have yet to determine what caused the blaze. Two trucks and two engines were still on the scene Tuesday.
No injuries have been reported.
