MARYSVILLE — Police have arrested a man who allegedly tried to lure two 15-year-old girls into his van and later exposed himself to an espresso stand employee.
The man, 28, was arrested by Marysville police on a routine traffic stop, Snohomish County Sheriff’s Office spokeswoman Jan Jorgensen said.
Sheriff’s investigators have been searching for the suspect since March 29, when the man allegedly tried to lure the first girl in the 11800 block of Freeway Place in south Everett and the second teen in the 12200 block of Eighth Drive SE.
Detective Bill McCormick drew a sketch of the suspect, based on the victims’ descriptions.
A man fitting that description allegedly drove up to an espresso stand in the 8800 block of 172nd Street NE on April 2 and exposed himself. The employee got the man’s license plate number.
Police arrested the suspect the next day. The man was booked into the Snohomish County Jail on suspicion of luring.
