TRENTON, N.J. — Today’s jackpot in the Mega Millions multistate lottery game has grown to $333 million.
That’s the second largest jackpot in history. The cash payout is estimated at $210.4 million.
The largest payout so far has been a $390 million jackpot shared by a New Jersey couple from Cape May County and a truck driver in Georgia in 2007.
If no one wins tonight’s jackpot, it will rollover to $430 million — the largest in history.
Tickets are sold in California, Georgia, Illinois, Maryland, Massachusetts, Michigan, New Jersey, New York, Ohio, Texas, Virginia and Washington.
