EVERETT — Cascade High School was put into lockdown Wednesday afternoon during a police operation in the neighborhood.
Everett police were responding to a reported disturbance in the central Everett area around 1 p.m., said the department spokesman, officer Aaron Snell.
Police initially were told a man involved in the disturbance may have been carrying a weapon.
A police dog was used in the search, which continued into Wednesday evening.
The lockdown was a safety precaution, Snell said.
