Q I find it difficult at night and when it is raining to see the yellow center lines on Seattle Hill Road, coming from the top of the hill to Marsh Road, between Everett and Snohomish.
A Dawn McIntosh, assistant area traffic engineer in Snohomish, said her department reviewed the pavement markers along Seattle Hill Road in the area of Marsh Road and determined there is a need for improvement.
"Unfortunately, we had to implement cutbacks in our annual striping maintenance program as a result of Initiative 695," McIntosh said. "The cutbacks necessitated that we drop our annual, raised pavement-marking replacement activities for summer 2000."
She said until July, they will only be able to focus on marking improvement on I-5, between Everett and South Seattle.
She said they hope to return to the raised pavement-parking maintenance program after July 1.
