EVERETT – Police are searching for a man who reportedly grabbed an Everett High School student from behind this morning and pulled her to the ground.
A 17-year-old girl told officers she was walking in the 2300 block of Rockefeller Avenue about 7:30 a.m. when the unknown man grabbed her, Everett Sgt. Boyd Bryant said. The girl was able to break free and run to the high school for help, he said.
Police searched the area and were unable to find the man. He was described as white, possibly wearing a plaid flannel shirt and carrying a plaid blanket.
The Everett School District is telling students, teachers, bus drivers and parents about the incident. Anyone with information is asked to call the Everett Police Departments tip line at 425-257-8450.
