EVERETT — Fireworks are believed to have caused a warehouse fire south of Everett early Wednesday.
The warehouse on 119th Street SW, near Center Road, is used to store construction supplies.
An employee showed up for work and saw flames shortly before 5 a.m., said Leslie Hynes with Snohomish County Fire District 1.
When firefighters arrived, burning debris was dropping from the skylights, she said. It took crews about 15 minutes to get the flames under control. No injuries were reported. Damage was estimated at $100,000, mostly to the roof.
Crews also responded from Everett, Lynnwood and Mukilteo.
