Woman shot in drive-by in Mountlake Terrace

She was transported to Harborview Medical Center and is in stable condition.

MOUNTLAKE TERRACE — A woman was wounded in the leg Tuesday night in a drive-by shooting in Mountlake Terrace, police said.

The woman was shot around 230th and 52nd in Mountlake Terrace just before 11 p.m. Tuesday, Mountlake Terrace police Cmdr. Pat Lowe said. She was transported to Harborview Medical Center. Lowe said she was in stable condition.

The suspect had not been caught, as of Wednesday morning. The victim and the suspect apparently knew each other, so there is little threat to the general public, Lowe said.
