First off, I am not an “eco-fanatic,” but I do know how to conserve and save fuel when it is necessary.
Why do law enforcement and other officials require Crown Victoria police interceptor and Dodge magnum cars for patrol cars when a smaller, more fuel efficient vehicle will do the job? I think there are alternatives to some of the vehicles that are currently being used as cruisers and maybe it’s time to look at it. There are departments all over the U.S. that are scaling down, why not Washington state?
Gov. Christine Gregoire is “full speed ahead” when it comes to spending on vehicles.
