Bourne to run: Herald film critic Robert Horton has his review of “Jason Bourne,” the fifth in the series starring Matt Damon that began in 2002. Damon is back as the once-amnesiac spy hunted by his own agency (A&E, Page 3).

Russian hackers attempted to replace Clinton’s acceptance speech on her teleprompter but were thwarted when she noticed the speech began with “The Donald Trump is nice guy.”
Don’t know much about history: On this day in 1921, Adolf Hitler became leader of the National Socialist German Workers Party (Today in History, Page D6).
As with Democratic and Republican conventions, the Nazis angered music publishers by ending their convention by playing a song without permission, in this case, “Ain’t We Got Fun.”
