VANCOUVER, B.C. — The Everett AquaSox’s bid for the High-A Northwest League title came to an end with a 10-2 loss to the Vancouver Canadians in Game 4 of the league championship series on Saturday night at Nat Bailey Stadium.
Vancouver won the series 3-1.
Garrett Spain had an RBI double and Vancouver pushed a second run across in the second on double play before breaking out for five runs in the fourth inning. Cade Doughty drove in two with a double and Gabriel Martinez had an RBI single in the inning.
The Aquasox cut their deficit to 5-2 in the fifth on Cole Young’s sacrifice fly and Harry Ford’s RBI double, but the Canadians answered back with one in the sixth and two on Nick Goodwin’s home run in the seventh.
Vancouver starter Ryan Jennings struck out five over three scoreless innings and Anders Tolhurst allowed two runs over four innings to earn the win.
