Boys basketball

Lewis Pope, South Whidbey

Pope, a senior, scored 25 points Tuesday in the Falcons’ 64-54 win over Cedar Park Christian, then tallied 40 points Friday to lead South Whidbey to a 74-35 victory over Granite Falls.

Girls basketball

Alexyss Newman, Glacier Peak

Newman, a junior, tallied 12 points Wednesday in the Grizzlies’ 62-15 win over Mount Vernon, then scored 21 points Friday to help Glacier Peak to a 64-33 victory over Kamiak.

Boys wrestling

Mason Phillips, Stanwood

Phillips, a senior, won the 152-pound division at the Gut Check Challenge on Saturday in Bremerton, posting a 5-0 record that included three pins. In the final, Phillips defeated Nate Moore of White River 23-8.

Boys swimming and diving

Alejandro Flores, Lake Stevens

Flores won the 200-yard freestyle and 100 freestyle events, and was part of the Grizzlies’ winning 200 medley and 400 freestyle relay teams Thursday in Lake Stevens’ 141-43 win over Oak Harbor and 138-42 victory over Everett.
