Alejandro Flores, Lake Stevens swim

Flores, a sophomore, posted a state qualifying time in the 100 butterfly, swam an impressive 50 freestyle and helped the 400 freestyle relay to victory in the Vikings’ wins over Stanwood and Archbishop Murphy.

Lewis Pope, G, South Whidbey

Pope, a senior, reached the 1,000-point plateau in the Falcons’ 65-50 win over King’s. Pope scored 23 points overall.

Bradley Webber, Everett swim

Webber, a senior captain, won three individual events and swam on the Seagulls’ winning 200 freestyle relay in a comeback victory over Monroe.

Philip Pepple, F, Shorecrest

Pepple, a senior, erupted for 31 points and 19 rebounds to help the Scots squeak past Marysville Pilchuck 82-79 in a battle of Wesco 3A unbeatens.

Josh Erling, Glacier Peak wrestling

Erling, a senior 220-pounder, decked Kamiak’s Nick Garza early in the second period to help guide the Grizzlies to a 42-37 Wesco 4A victory over the Knights. Erling is ranked 11th at 195 in the Washington Wrestling Report 4A state rankings.
