On fourth try, Arlington Heights voters overwhelmingly pass fire levy

Meanwhile, in another ballot that gave North County voters deja vu, Lakewood voters appeared to pass two levies for school funding.

Voters to decide on levies for Arlington fire, Lakewood schools

On Tuesday, a fire district tries for the fourth time to pass a levy and a school district makes a change two months after failing.

Delegates are allocated by votes in each of the state’s 10 congressional districts.

Do Snohomish County lawmakers want a 2020 presidential rematch?

The Herald contacted seven Republican legislators representing parts of Snohomish County about their primary choice. Five did not respond.

School measures rejected in Arlington, Lakewood, Sultan; pass elsewhere

Edmonds and Stanwood-Camano voters favored levies for schools Tuesday. Arlington passed two levies, but rejected funding for a new middle school.

11 tax measures on Snohomish County’s special election ballot

Tuesday is the deadline to vote on school levies in the Arlington, Edmonds, Lakewood, Sultan and Stanwood-Camano districts.

Edmonds School District asks voters for $700M for new schools, upgrades

For the seventh time in a decade, the district is asking voters to approve bonds and levies for upgrades.

County, state seek to improve on paltry turnout in local elections

How do you build on a 36% turnout? State legislators are weighing a longer ballot in even-numbered years, when returns can top 85%.

Snohomish County funds Spanish voters’ pamphlets, but not ballots — yet

The county could become the second in the state to provide Spanish-language ballots without being required to.
