BONNEY LAKE — Bonney Lake police are investigating after a homeowner shot an alleged intruder.
Police spokesman Todd Green told The News Tribune that a man was trying to break into the house Monday morning when the make resident confronted him. The would-be intruder pointed a gun at the resident, who drew his own weapon and fired.
Green says the intruder was struck in the leg and was taken to a Tacoma hospital for treatment.
Two guns were seized at the scene.
