MOUNTLAKE TERRACE — Six people were displaced after a two-alarm fire heavily damaged two homes late Wednesday night in Mountlake Terrace.
Around 11:45 p.m., the fire was reported at two homes in the 4900 block of 241st Street SW, according to fire officials. When South County Fire crews arrived, the residents were outside.
No one was injured, according to South County Fire. The local chapter of the Red Cross was assisting the displaced residents.
Shoreline Fire assisted. At the fire’s peak, more than 40 firefighters were on scene.
The cause was under investigation Thursday.
