EVERETT — The public has three chances to discuss Snohomish County’s 2010 budget with the County Council at evening meetings set for the week of Oct. 12.
County Executive Aaron Reardon released his proposed budget last week, but the council has said it wants to draw up its own budget from scratch. Councilmen have until Dec. 1 to submit their draft to Reardon, who then has 10 days to sign it or veto it.
The public meetings start at 6:30 p.m. on:
Monday, Oct. 12 at the Edmonds City Council Chambers, 250 Fifth Ave. N., Edmonds;
Tuesday, Oct. 13 in the Gary Weikel room at Willis Tucker Park, 6705 Puget Park Drive, Snohomish;
Thursday, Oct. 15 at the Stillaguamish Senior Center, 18308 Smokey Point Blvd., Arlington.
