Man dead after crash into Tulalip ravine

The man’s truck was found over a 100-foot enbankment. He died from his injuries. Police continued to investigate.

TULALIP — A man was found dead Tuesday afternoon after his truck was discovered at the bottom of a ravine.

Around 12:30 p.m., someone was looking for a relative near Sunny Shores Drive and Marine Drive, according to Tulalip police. The person found the relative’s truck over a 100-foot embankment.

The driver wasn’t responsive. The person called 911.

Firefighters rappelled down to the truck. They extracted the driver, but he had died from his injuries.
