LYNNWOOD — Police on Wednesday nabbed a man suspected of robbing three banks in Lynnwood and Seattle, and attempting to rob a fourth.
Officers foiled his getaway after he tried to leave a Bellevue bank around 12:30 p.m. The 34-year-old man had hailed a taxi, according to the Bellevue Police Department. Officers later arrested him in Seattle.
That same man allegedly robbed two banks in Lynnwood. On Monday, he walked into a U.S. Bank on 196th Street SW and reportedly demanded money. Police believe he also is connected with a Jan. 18 robbery at a Wells Fargo in the 2600 block 196th Street SW, about a mile east of the U.S. Bank.
