Road Report

How to read your road report: Road restrictions may be near, but not necessarily in, the cities under which they are listed. Most restrictions are from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m. weekdays. Any lane on the road could be closed between the two cross streets found in most listings. Weather conditions may change work plans.

Freeway work through Everett

n Multiple lanes of I-5 may be closed Monday through Thursday nights and on some Friday nights for the remainder of the year. Closures will be in both directions in various locations between Highway 526 (the Boeing Freeway) and Marine View Drive. Southbound closures begin at 7 p.m. and end at 4 a.m. Northbound closures begin at 10 p.m. and end at 5 a.m. Friday night closures end at 7 a.m. Saturdays. Watch for traffic signs.

Lane striping continues this week on northbound I-5 lanes between Highway 526 and the Broadway exit. Lane closures begin about 9 p.m. and end about 6 a.m. the next day.

On dry nights this week, paving operations in the southbound I-5 lanes are set to continue. Lanes begin closing as early as 6 p.m. and end about 4 a.m. the next day.

On dry nights this week, exits from and onramps to I-5 may be closed in the downtown Everett area. Paving and construction of noise wall barriers is continuing.

Through November, a barrier will separate the westbound U.S. 2 exit to the southbound I-5 onramp from the offramp to California and Walnut streets. The speed limit is reduced to 25 mph.

I-5 overpass work continues between Highway 526 (the Boeing Freeway) and Marine View Drive in Everett. The state will close lanes and reroute drivers on several downtown Everett streets, including Everett Avenue, Broadway (41st Street), 41st Street, Pacific Avenue, Lowell Road-52nd Street, Hewitt Ave­nue, Harrison Avenue, Highland Avenue, Smith Avenue and Summit Avenue. Street closures could cause ramp and city street backups. Drivers are encouraged to use other routes.

Arlington

Grandview Road between West Scouten Loop road and 79th Ave­nue NE. Road closed through Oct. 19. Culvert replacement. Detour posted.

Bothell

Grannis Road at 189th Street. Lane closure through Nov. 9. Verizon Communications will install poles and aerial facilities.

Filbert Drive between Nellis Road and 203rd Street SE. Lane closure through Nov. 9. Frontage improvements.

Lake Stevens

20th Street SE between 79th Avenue SE and 83rd Avenue SE. Lane closures and shifts weekdays through Oct. 19. Frontage improvements.

Lynnwood

Jefferson Way south of 144th Place SW. Lane closure through Oct. 18. Gas service and maintenance.

Madison Way between 150th Street SW and 149th Street SW. Lane closure weekdays through Oct. 26. Frontage improvements.

164th Street SW at 36th Avenue W. Lane closure weekdays through Oct. 31. Cable installation.

156th Street SW from Manor Way to its dead end. Lane closed weekdays through Oct. 25. Frontage improvements.

Motor Place, Meadow Road, 160th Street SW. Lane closures extended weekdays through Oct. 31. Frontage improvements.

14th Avenue W. and 172nd Street SW. Lane closures weekdays through Oct. 26. Frontage ­improvements.

140th Street SW. Lane closure through Oct. 26. Cable installation.

Maltby

Marysville

128th Street NE between 26th Avenue NE and 34th Avenue NE. 24 hour road closure through Nov. 16. Intersection improvements, detour posted.

Mill Creek

Larch Way intersecting with 164th. Lane closure through Oct. 18. Frontage improvements.

Snohomish

Three Lakes Road, 13400 block. Lane closed Oct. 19. PUD electrical work.

152nd Street SE between 87th Avenue SE and Highway 9. Lane closure through Oct. 31. Culvert ­replacement.

Stanwood

Stanwood-Bryant Road, Kackman Road, Grandview Road. Lane closures through Oct. 31. Power pole relocation work.

n Fourth Avenue W. south of its intersection with 124th Street SW. Lane closure through Oct. 9. Gas line relocation.

20th Street SE between 83rd Street SE and 79th Street SE. Lane closure through October. Utility installation.

Granite Falls

n Mountain Loop Highway between Deer Creek and Barlow Pass. Road was closed for the winter and has reopened. However, Buck Creek Bridge 544 at milepost 22 will remain closed until further notice.

n Mountain Loop Highway near milepost 21. Road closure through Oct. 15. Bypass road provided.

Lake Stevens

n Rhodora Heights between Seventh Place SE and Machias Cutoff Road. Frontage improvements.

Lynnwood

n Ash Way and 18th Avenue W. north of 164th Street SW. Intermittent lane closures weekdays through October. Roundabout construction.

n 11th Avenue W. and 12th Avenue W. at Larch Way. Lane closure through Oct. 12. Frontage ­improvements.

Marysville

n 67th Avenue NE north of 132nd Street NE. Road closure and lane closure through Oct. 12. Paving and water main installation.

Snohomish

n Riverview Road between 5000 and 6300 blocks of Riverview Road. Lane closure through Nov. 16. Repairs along shoulder adjacent to riverbank.

Stanwood

n Lakewood Road, Frank Waters Road and Marine Drive. Lane closure through Dec. 31. Constructing 7.5 miles of electric power transmission line.

n English Grade Road at Fisher Creek. Single-lane closure through Oct. 31. Bridge repairs.

n W. Lake Goodwin Road at 164th Street NW. Lane closure through Oct. 16. Gas main work.

Tulalip

n Tulare Way southwest of View Place. Lane closures through Nov. 5. Road repair.
