EVERETT — A pair of collisions, including an alleged hit-and-run, snarled northbound I-5 late Sunday and very early Monday.
A Bothell man, 22, driving a BMW 528 sedan, crashed into an Everett woman’s Toyota Camry around 11:25 p.m. He allegedly ran away south of 128th Street SW near Everett but was eventually in law enforcement custody, according to the Washington State Patrol.
The Bothell man was booked into the Snohomish County Jail for investigation of felony hit and run and vehicular assault.
The Everett woman, 67, was taken to Providence Regional Medical Center Everett.
The other collision, north of 128th Street SW, included five vehicles.
Traffic was diverted at 164th Street SW near Lynnwood while investigators sorted out the crashes. All lanes were opened around 4:30 a.m. Monday.
