EVERETT — Everett Community College announced it 2024 Athletic Hall of Fame induction class, which consists of six individuals and one team. They will be honored at Everett’s Athletic Hall of Fame dinner on June 6 at the Walt Price Student Fitness Center on the campus of Everett CC.
The inductees:
– Lauren Allison, women’s soccer. A member of Everett’s 2014 Northwest Athletic Conference championship team, Allison holds the school’s career record for goals with 35, including a single-season record of 22 during the championship season.
– Mace Brady, men’s gymnastics. Brady joined the gymnastics team in 1965 and competed in the Northwest Championship against primarily university teams. He led the Trojans with 254 points.
– Dick Foxal, men’s gymnastics. Like Brady, Foxal joined the gymnastics team in 1965, scoring more points than two other competing schools at the Northwest Championships.
– Inderbir Gill, men’s basketball. Gil played two seasons for the Trojans from 2005-07, averaging 16.7 points, 7.5 assists, 6.0 rebounds and 4.0 steals during his sophomore season as he led NWAC in assists and steals.
– George Gyorgyfalvy, men’s gymnastics. Gyorgyfalvy was a physical education teacher at EvCC from 1961-67, and in his fourth year he started the gymnastics program, coaching several standout athletes over the following three years.
– Geoff Kittle, women’s soccer. Kittle took over the women’s soccer program in 2009 and spent seven seasons as the head coach. He is the winningest coach in program history with 88 victories, and his teams won four North Region titles as well as the programs first NWAC title in 2014.
– 2014 women’s soccer team. The team won a school record 20 games en route to the program’s first ever NWAC championship.
