MILL CREEK — Yanina Sherwood tossed a one-hit shutout, striking out 12 batters along the way, and Jackson’s offense exploded for nine runs in the first inning in a victory over Everett.
Amanda Wingert and Hailey Pelletier each drove in three runs and Heleina Ah-Lo homered for the Timberwovles (2-0).
