PREP GOLF/TENNIS ROUNDUP: Coshow leads King’s to boys golf victory

SEATTLE — Price Coshow led a solid King’s boys golf team to first place in the weekly Cascade Conference meet Wednesday at Jackson Park Golf Course.

Coshow birdied five holes en route to a 48-stroke round called after 13 holes because of darkness. Teammate Calvin McCutchen shot 50, helping King’s win the match with a team total of 274. South Whidbey finished with 305, Archbishop Murphy 312, Cedarcrest 316, Lakewood 346, and Sultan 363.

“It was excellent, the course was very accomodating,” Cedarcrest head coach Dan Tachell said. “We enjoy getting toghter like that on a beautiful day and a course that holds up.”

Cedarcrest’s Taylor Fields had an eagle on the par-5 first hole for the shot of the day.
