Katie Krueger | Lakewood softball
The senior pitcher set the Lakewood career mark for runs scored, crossing home plate four times to push her total to 129. Krueger went 3-for-3 with a triple, a double and a walk and also drove in three runs and swiped two bases. She starred in the circle as well, striking out eight Sehome batters while allowing one unearned run. Krueger won The Herald’s Athlete of the Week for April 13-19 by claiming 173 (59.04%) of the 293 votes.

Brynlee Dubiel | Mountlake Terrace girls track and field
Dubiel won both the 100 and 300 hurdles to help the Hawks win the team competition at the 35th Eason Invitational in Snohomish on April 26.
Bella Frye | Granite Falls softball
Last week the senior captain struck out 24 batters and allowed a lone earned run in 16 innings pitched, which included a 5-inning no-hitter against Sultan on April 26. Frye also starred at the plate, going 10-for-15 (.667), with a home run, three triples, seven RBI and seven runs.
Luke Morris | Lake Stevens baseball
The senior pitcher threw a no-hitter against Cascade on April 21, striking out 14 Bruins while walking only one.
Alex Plumis | Edmonds-Woodway boys soccer
Alex Plumis recorded a two goals and an assist as the Warriors (7-4-2 overall) cruised to an upset win over the Vikings (11-1-0), who sustained their first loss of the season.
