WENATCHEE — Two men have been charged with controlled substance homicide in the Oct. 31 death of a 16-year-old girl.
Jason A. Wendt and Larry D. Tuckey, both 26, also are charged with two counts each of unlawful delivery of methamphetamine to a person under 18, two counts each of unlawful delivery of methamphetamine within 1,000 feet of a school bus stop, and two counts each of involving a minor in drug dealing.
The men are accused of giving a fatal injection of methamphetamine to Lisa A. Morrow, who collapsed at Tuckey’s home and died at Central Washington Hospital.
Both pleaded innocent to the charges in Chelan County Superior Court this week. They remained in the county jail Friday in lieu of $100,000 cash bail apiece.
A trial date has been set for Feb. 5.
Controlled substance homicide carries a maximum penalty of 10 years in prison.
